THE ENGLISH CRICKETERS.
(Pir United Press Assocutiok.) CHIUSTCIIURCH, March 16. The lion, secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council has received a letter from Mr C. Edmund do Trafford, of the Knglish cricket team, thanking liini for his services to the icaiu. Mr dc Trafford writes:—"l know you -have had a hard and difficult time in milking all the many arrangements that were necessary for the success of our tour, and I should like you to feci that wc appreciate very much all that you have done for us. Please convey to the New Zealand Cricket Council and the cricketers of New Zealand our most grateful thanks and our appreciation of their many great kindnesses to us. I must congratulate the council and players on their victory in tlio last test match and on the way they played up and won the match.
