. WELLINGTON, March 15. There is much disappointment amongst tho local Volunteers that there is to be no camp or route march this Easter. Major .lohnston, who has done excellent work in connection with the gunnery training ol the New Zealand Volunteers'during the past three years, will leave for England at the end of the month. Mr Alfred Hill, conductor of tho Exhibition orchestra, will, after the close of the Exhibition, take up his residence in Wellington. Tho 29th and 30lh March and Ist April are io be observed as holidays ill the public onices of the colony. The season for 'killing imported and native game in the counties of Wanganui and Waitotara will be closed absolutely this year.
