One of the incidents of the election was the defeat of Mr Judkins (editor of the Review of Reviews) for Brunswick, sfr Anstev (Labour) winning bv a majoriTv of over 700. Mr Premlergast is leader of the Labour narrv in Victoria-. Mr F. Anstev was the sitting member for Brunswick, and is now wiclclv known as tho author of "sfonopolv and Democracy," an attack on Victorian land monopoly.
