TWO iWOMEN LOSK THEIR LIVES TRYING TO RESCUE A DROWNING BOY. (Pee United Press Assocrmes.) WANGANUI, March 8. A sad drowning accident occurred this afternoon. The children of tho Upokongaro School, with their parents and friends, went lip tho river to Karawhaiko for a picnic. A boy got out of his depth, and two" ladies, Mrs C. F. Cieson and Miss Kate Campbell, lost their lives in trying to rescue him. Tho bodies have been recovered. Tho boy .was saved.
