MEETINGS
A meeiting of the Otago Lodge of Druids was held on Wednesday evening, Arch Druid Uro. Butterfiold presiding. There was a good attendance, ot members present, including several of tho visiting delegates. Three new members were initiated and four others were proposed for membership. The Druids Bohemian Clnb wroto inviting the members to an open night on Match 14. and ifc was resolved to accept the kind invitation. During the evening the following contributed to the musical programme:— Brijs, Dwyer, Smeaton Dixon, Beasley.- Hawkins, Ilobbs, Shclton, Hubbard, and Leech. Amougst tho visitors wero Bros. Cook and Barron (Invercargill), Dwycr (West Harbour). Ford (Valley), Beasley (Lyttelton), Sracaton (Enterprise), and Smith (Ivanhoe). The receipts wero £45 13s 9d. The usual meeting of tho Alliance Lodgo, 1.0.Ci.T., was hold-on Wednesday, Bro. 11. Stubbs, C.T., presiding. ' Two candidates were proposed for'membership. Arrangements were made for the "SankeyV night, the final practice boing held next Monday. After rc-cess a very enjoyable programme was submitted, the following contributing-.—Piano duet. Sis. I'iddis and Foster; songs, Bros. H. S-tiibbs, Geo. Thompson, J. Todd.i J. Mn.rrett, and some visiting brethren. The usual vote of thanks to the visitors wits responded to by the representatives' front Caversham, Lily of tho Valley, and other lodges.
