RISE IN PRICE OF SHEEP.
ASHBURTON, February 19. On account of the grass beginning to spring, as the result of the recent rain, there was an appreciable rise in tho prico of store sheep at the weekly market to-day, and very few lines were passed at auction. A London cablo advises <tlio price of silver at 31; d per ounce.
