Cotter was the most successful bowler, taking three wickets for 37 runs, Heavy rain yesterday gave the bowlers an advantage. 'J he visitors in their second innings collapsed miserably, their total being 31. Carroll was top scorer with 8. Jjoble took six wickets for' 21 and Macartney lour wickets for 6. At one stage lie had four for nil. New f-'outh Wales won by an innings and 226 runs.
