Our Oamaru correspondent states that Hie death of Mr Samuel Wilson, one of the enrty and most successful farmers on tbo Papata'o Plains, is announced. Hβ had been ailing for some time, and died on Saturday, in hie sixty-ninth year. Mr W. J. Martyn, who had a markedly brilliant career both at Waitaki High School and at iho Otago University, has accepted a position on the staff of the Auckland Grammar School.
