The Ota-go Land Board met yesterday, and was attended by Messrs D. Barron (Chief Commissioner), W. Dallas, J. Tough, G. Livingstone, and J. if. Mackenzie. H. E. Pitt applied for grazing right over block XII, AVaitaluma VTcs-t district-Tem-porary license granted until land i 3 offered for sale. Messrs Moncly and Stephens applied on behalf of Thomas Frank Christian for exemption from residenco on sect-ions 118 and 128 a, block IX, Maruwenua district.—Under tho circumstances mentioned exemption granted during pleasure of tho hoard. Andrew AVhito applied for grazing right over quarry reserve in block 11, Waikouaiti district.—License granted; rent ss. T. 11. Erskino applied for renewal of license over section 13, block XIII, Pornahaha- Downs Estate.—Granted at a rental of H for six months. C. J. Forsytli applied for right to cut 100 poles at BiTchall's Plat, near Kmloek.— Granted at 10s royalty per 100 poles. Todd Eros, and Co. applied for right to cut flax on Tuapeka Counnonsge.— Declined. L. liyan, on behalf of Mrs Louisa Magnus, asked that section 0, block XXVII, town of Alexandra, be offered for sale burdened with valuation for improvements.—Valuation of improvements to bo made and section offered at next sale.
