TO TIIK EDITOR. Sik, —Thero is at least one omission from tho list, as given by "Civis" on Saturday, of Imperial regiments at ono time or another stationed in New Zealand. The 58th—the " Old Black Cuffs " —is not mentioned at. all, though that, regiment was engaged in somo of the fiercest fighting that has taken placo with the Maori; and tho date of its arrival in the colony was, I believe, much earlier than that of the Kith. It would, I think, interest many besides myself to read the dates of arrival and departure of the various regiments.
