MELBOURNE, December 25. (Received Dec. 26, at 9.15 a.m.) The remains of the late Or Rainy were interred here. LONDON, December 25. A memorial service was held at Edinburgh synchronising with the funeral ai Melbourne. Representatives of the Established afid Free Churches, as well as other denominations, Lord Overtoun, the. Lord Provost of the municipality, l) r Rainy's sister and daughter, and Mr Rainy, M.P. attended.
