NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.

(PER* "UNITED ■ PRESS Association CHRISTOHnRCH, September 7. The weekly official report of the New Zealand-International Exhibition states that 55 cases of Exhibition' fireworks from Messrs .T. Pnin and Co:. London, arrived at Port Chalmers last week by the s.s. Rangatira. . The firework'! were discharged into the ma-razi'iie at Port Chalmers, whence they, will lie railed direct to'tho Exhibition grounds. It is definitely settled that tho photograph of the holder of each season ticket will he affixed therein. After considerable discussion on .the merits of ' different systems which have been adopted, this one lias been finally decided upon. The' Minister in charge of the Exhibition has approved of the expenditure of lOOgs for the liest district displays on the lines suggested by the Agricultural and Pastoral .Committee of the Exhibition. By tho s.s. Zealandia there arrived a nnmljer of exhibits from tho Cook Islands for the Exhibition. These exhibits include a canoe, a large number of mats, a very long spear of considerable age (and consequently much prized b.v. the owner), also two case's of curios, a kumcti, and a case of model canoes.
