Several ca<=e« of real distress and nowrty are also coming under the notice of the society; these ere being dealt with through the Sixpenny Clothing Club and thi! different churches. The work of the* occiety is considerably strengthened by aid from many Fonra.>s, proving of great vakio liy way of nssi'ting all appla.cants who ap'ply for aid in various forms. dono by the collector (Miss L. Cohen), who is indefatigable in her efforts to support the' work the society is endeavouring to aoouutplish.
