(Pun United Press Association.! CHniSTciintfOH, .i u i y 11. Advice has been received from the actingsecretary of the General Post Office. Wellington, to tile effect that the special issue of stamps commemorative of tho'Exhibition is well tinder way. A plate for the Id stamp has already been prepared, and proofs struck orf which are satisfactory. The preparation of the stumps of other denominations are well under way, and the acting-secretary advises the Exhibition authorities that the whole issue will ho ready not later than the end of September.
