CPer TJsitf.d Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 9. William Thomas Duder, 60 years of age, a retired farmer, left Devonport on Tuesday last in a 12ft dingey, and has not since been heard of. A search party discovered his oilskin coat near Pnru. a mile and a-half from Maraetai. It is feared that bo has been drowned. He is a brother of Captain Duder, harbour master at Auckland.

Sewcll attempted to blow up the Murelii--5011 courthouse wilh dynamite, killing himself and injuring others. A fatal boat accident occurred on Saturday in tho Motuoka River, which is in flood. Three young men were ero&sin<r in a canoe near j !vo site of the now bridge, and wore carried down stream by a strong current. Running mi to some staging in tho river, the. canoe overturned. One nf iho occupants. Reuben Groohy, aged 17, son of Mr Thomas Brooby, of Rocky I* ivpti-, was drowned, but tile other two occupants (Wilson, 8 carpenter employed on bridge work, and Gordon Grooby, a cousin of the deceased) escaped by climbing lip Iho slaving. Groobv's body has not been recovered.
CHRTSTCTIUROIT, July 9. _ The body of Henry AVooldvidge, a resident of Papanui. was found in tho estuary between Sumner and Now Rrishton yesterday, 'Wooldridge. who was 70 years old, had been missing from home since Wednesday morning, and his ahscnce caused great, anxiety, as he was in a weak state of health. On inquiries being made it wa-s found that lie bad been seen at New Brighton on Thursday and again on Friday. A soarch party was organised yesterday, with the result (hat his body was found in tho estuary abovo low-water mark.

Deceased was last seen alivo on the 6lli inst. at about 5 p.m., when she was supplied ivilli groceries by Mr Keo. Tnglis.
