(Received Jimp 28, at 10.39 a.m.) The necersity of legislation to protect the Australian policy-holders in American companies was referred to in the Federal House. Mr Deakin stated that a hill was being prepared to deal ivith the matter. Tlie Federal Shipping Commission has prepared a report recommending the nationalisation of the shipping service between Great Ttritnin mid Australia. Tom Mann's unemployed brigade hooted the State Governor (Sir R. A. J. Talbot) on entering and leaving Parliament. The House passed a resolution regretting the untimely decease of Mr Seddon and of sympathy with his relatives.
