In pur"siia,nce of notice of motion, Mr Peacock moved— " That tho inspectorial grading of all teachers wh»n completed should bo open to the inspection nf any teacher at the office of the board, and that until completed such gradin? should not necessarily crovern the selection bv the board of teachers for promotion." lie said it was absolutely ne<es'arv that tho teachers should be satisfied with the way in wh'ch promotions were made, otherwise might lose somo of its best- teachers.
