Intending pxbihitors and offers would do well to nolo that, the dale, for the oocniiig of ffe win lor show of the Okigo Agricuitural anil Pastoral Society is now close at hand. The show commences on Wednesday. .Juno 6, when Iho now Brydono Hall will to formally opened. This year a largo number of additional classes of interest are included in the catalogue. Amongst these is a special competition for school' children in the way of collections of yesolables grown in tl:e school grounds under Ihc supervision of the masters. _ This competition would appear to he. oxoiting a great deal of interest, A milking tost will be held durinc two' days of the show, quantity and quality of milk |o he taken into consideration. An effort has liocn made to obtain a good display of wool, the staple product of the colony, and the county bays will again form a strong; feature of the exhibition: while as regards cheese exhibits, competition, jiklrinrr .by tho number of factories competing, should ho very keen indeed. Special prizes are to be -offered in the bread and scone division, and this should have the effect of bringing in big entries. A large number of applications have already been received for space for exhibits of machinery and implements, and this bfanoh of the show promises to provide something attractive and varied Live stock entries arc numerous, and the cattle and sheep should make a irood display. Throughout the show there will he a string band in attendance, in addition to a brass band. The monster cheese will be on sole as usual. Entries for exhibits close definitely on the 23rd inst. The Pirydono Fall, which was quite recently comnlct«l. will place at flic society's disposal nearly double the room available in former years, and this will permit of the county bays being given almost exclusive possession of the annexe alongside the theatre. Tiv this portion' of the building it is intended.to place numerous doors for tho convenience and comfort, of patrons of the show. A lano doorway will open from the Brydone Hall info the Victoria Hall, and this will do away with the crushing usually experienced in this connection at winter shows.
