LONDON, Mav 6. (Received May 7, at 9.17 a.m.) ~ A packed meeting of Roman Catholics, held in the Albert Hull, protested against the, Government Education Bill. Archbishop Bourne presided. Many Catholio peers and members of the House of Commons were present. One thousand persons earlier in the day assembled on the Embankment, near Westminster (R.C.) Cathedral. Thirty thousand persons who could not be accommodated held an overflow meeting outsiclo the ball. May 7. (Received May 7, at 11.16 p.m.) Mi Balfour, speaking at Cambridge, said that if the Education Bill were submitted to a plebiscite it would be spumed and rejected.
