The jury added a rider that there should be two men on tho engine, and that cowcatchers should be put on the engines. The adjourned inquest touching the death of an old ma-n named Patrick iVlfCormick, whoso body had been found •in tho estuary near Sumner yesterday morning, -was held to-day, when a verdict wan returned- that death was duo to drowning, ibnt thero was no evidence to show how deceased got into the water.
