SPEECH BY MR DEAKIN. ' Puts Association—By Telegraph-Copyright, April 27. (Received April 28, at 0.8 a.m.) Mr Deakin (Federal Premier), speaking at Campcrdown, said that the next election would bo a fight for Australian industries. From first to last Mr Reid had been an impossible ally. The most important- questions in the coming session would be tlio fiscal proposal and defence matters. It -was impossible to deal with social legislation, while the Australian markets were open to all kinds flf unfair competition.
