Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON', March 14. (Received March 15, at 10.8 a.m.) At the wool auctions there was a good sale. Prices are very firm.

The Industries and Commerce Department to-day received the following cable from tlic High Commissioner, dated London, the 14th:—"The wool sales have commenced. There is great competition amongst the buyers. Prices have slightly advanced in alt grades. Merino has risen ?d. lino crossbred Jd, nnd coarse Id per lb."
