AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTT'S THEATRE.-MR HAERTI BICt£AK,D3'S COMPANY.
At His Majesty's Theatre—where Mr Rickards's admirable vaudeville company is still running bj arrangement with Messrs John Fuller and Sons—there was last night the. first complete change of programme. In the lirst half the various members of tbo company appeared in new songs and business, In tho second those extraordinarily talented and interesting illusionists, Leroy, Talma, and Bosco, appeared in an entirely new aet. This new " turn" is a.s good as the opening cue—but different. There is less of pure illusion, end more of conjuring and fun in it. Incidentally, Leroy ami Bosco go out barox aimed among the audience, and produce, apparently from tbo pockets ot the audience, quantities of coins, ribbons, flags, live stock, vegetables, and sundries.. Tiro new illusions are up to the standard; the whole turn is extremely varied and rbiuarkdWe. That very laughable, and agile oomciinn. Mr Victor Kelly, also comes o'.rt this week in now business, and deepens the good impression made last week. Mr Kelly should be seen by everybody who loves knockabout comedy arid hilarious inn. Miss Fanny j?o\rers is'to the fore with i:ew and very charming mimicries; Miss Xita Leeto is effective in new songs; Mr _Wallace Ascot sings admirably; the Collier Sistera are reunited and work daintily; the three Gibson girls are sprightly and winsome as ever; Mr George Bentloy is good; Miss Mabel Lynnc still laughs and capers merrily. This week, in short, the show is altogothor bright and good, as it was last week; sad the enthusiastic audience of last nigh* ai:gured well for this week's business. DUNEDItf OPERATIC SOCIETY.
