At Ihe Supremo Court to-day Andrew Blucher was sentenced to two years' imprisonnicnl. for breaking and entering a store and sloiiliri.tr kauri gum. A verdict of- "Not guilty" whs returned in the cases against John Dcconry Brady, charged with attempted arson at Te Awamiitu, and William and I-lavry Green, charged with assault, and rubbery in the Domain. James Vesey was convicted of indecently assaulting si little girl at Onchunga, and sentenced lo 18 mouths. CHRISTCHURCH, February 12. At the Supremo Court, to-day the Grand Jury found (ruo bills in every case. Arthur Henry Woolslon, who came up for sentence on a charge of entering- a dwelling with intent, to commit a crime and causing actual bodily harm, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment. Henry Marslem, who had pleaded '•'Guilty',' in the lower court to a charge of breaking and entering and theft, was sentenced to two years. In the case of William John Kinley, charged with assault with intent at Kaikouia, the jury found a verdict of "Not guilty" after two hours' retirement, and the prisoner was discharged. The case had been tried at a previous session, when the jury disagreed. In the base of J. P. Amos and G. Crockett, charged with arson, Crockett was granted a free pardon by the Crown, being only an accessory. Amos was sentencecHo three months' imprisonment.
