CHRISTCHURCH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.
(Per United Press Association.) PALMER.STON NORTH, Feb. 12. A largely attended meeting of citizens and settlors assembled to confer with Mr Muiiro, Executive Commissioner of the New Zealand Exhibition, re thb representation of the Manawatu district at the Exhibition. Details were minutely gone into, after which it was decided that steps,be taken to havo the district represented, and the Executive Committee, was empowered' to convene a meeting of exhibitors and others to carry out the project. Mr Ivcra proposed securing a bay at the .Exhibition, and that both local producers and manufacturers should combino to make the exhibit thoroughly representative of the district. Mr Munvo announced that several leading districts of the colony were taking eteps with a view to being represented at the Exhibition, and it was hoped that before the time of closing entries the v.-holo of the districts in New Zealand would como in.
