THE PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.
TO THE EDITOR. Srp.,—l see in your issue of the 9th inst. a statement in the report of the meeting of tho Peninsula Road Board that the chairman (Mr Walker) and Mr William ■Robertson wore empowered to take legal advice with reference to Road Board property in my possession. I fail to understand the action of the board, as I had written to the chairman previous to that mooting informing him that all Road Board property would be handed over hy me to any authorised person.—l am, etc., John Bishop, late Clerk.
