TALK WITH GIRLS ON "SWEETHEARTS."
Last week was a busy one, owing to the various " brcaking-up " functions in connection with Dunedin schools, and this, with the fact.that many girls are working late just before Christmas, made the audience at the " Talk," by Miss Moody Bell, a smaller one than usual. However, the very responsive hearing given- to the secretary of the Y.W.C.A. (Moray Place) was most encouraging. The girls were quick to soo the points of humour, and met them with a ready laugh, hut were just as quick to appreciate other and more serious aspects of the all-important question, as dealt with by the lecturer during tho evening. Many important queries were attacked in turn, and entered upon-racily and thoroughly. The , interest was fully maintained to tfie close, and very cordial thanks personally expressed by the girls. Inquiry was made as to tho date of the next talk, and it is proposed 'to give another opportunity early in the New Year of hearing this talk No. 3..
OUior pressing and important considerations of love, courtship, and marriage still ro« main to bo referred to at a fitting time.
