CHRISTCHURCH INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.

(Per Unwed Pmss Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Deoembor 15. The weekly- official review of the progress of the New Zealand International Exhibition states, that applications for spaco aro now coming in freely. Among recent applications is ono from the manager of the Kodanaad Estate, at Kotegherry, India, who states his intention of'sending an exhibit of tea grown on that estate. A'letter'has been received from the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Ottawa, Canada, in whioh he slates that his department has taken in hand the organisation of a general exhibit of that country. This indicates that the Canadian exhibits will bo one of tho most oxtonsivo and interesting features of the exhibition. Tho ceremony of laying the foundation stone, which takes place at 11 o'clock on Monday next, promises to be of considerable interest. The Ministry will bo represented by the Right Hon. the Premier, tho Hon! Sir ,T. G. Ward, the Hon. Mr Hall-Jones, the Hon. Mr Carroll, and the Hon. Mr Pitt.
