ESCAPE OF A PRISONER

William Hughes, aged 17 years, who on Tuesday was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment at tlio SuproiiiG Court., mado a daring escape to-day from the Tcrraco Prison. By direction of tho court ho been kept apart, from other prisoners, ami this afternoon while engaged in some cleaning work in tho yard ho scaled the prison wall at a point where such a feat was considered impossible. He got clear off, iiiul is still at large.
