'Xho return from the New Perseverance No. 1 dredge- for the past week is 420z ICdwt. Tho No. 2 will wash-up to-day. The secretary ot the Ladysniith Sluicing Company wires a return of 41oz lOdwt for a fortnight's sluicing. Tho Waimutnu dredgemastor reports having resumed work at 5 p.m. on Thursday last; everything going well. The seorstary of the Junction Electric Company reports a rot-urn of 520z lldwt from the No. 1 dredge. There wifl bo no wash-up on iho No. 3 dredge, t.nd the No. 2 return is not yet to hand. Tho Clyde drsdgeniastir expects to have his cut compieiod by to-day, when be will make a start to shift the rtrtdje.
