SALVATION ARMY.

Colonel Iloskin, assisted by Brigadier Cain and Major Cuinming. led special serMces yesterday in Ihc Salvation Army Barracks, Do\vling slveet. Large crowds attended in spito of the rain. Good attention was paijl throughout to tho Colonel's addresses, which were well received on each occasion, and good impressions wero made. Brigadier Cain, tlio colony's commander, spoke at some length, and gave his farewell niessage. as lie is under orders to relinquish his command. Ensign Heathwood, private secretary to Colonel Iloskin, also spoke with good fooling. Tho Colonel and staff will conduct a largo demonstration to-night, when North Dunedin and South Dunedin Corps will unito with tho chief. Two bands will be present- A most interesting and enthusiastic meeting is anticipated. Tho admission is free to all.
