The shed has been used throughout the year by members for overhauling and storing their gear, and has in this respect-proved a boon, lhc social side of the club has also been well looked after, the committee hiring a, piano auring the winter months, and holding musical evenings and card parties with the different bodies in tho district. The work of making a, now landing stage in front of the shed is now under way, and will in all probability be ready for tho opening day. The annual regatta was. perhaps, tho most successful ever held, both.financially and otherwise. The ladies of the district, a.s usual, provided afternoon tea on both tlio opening and regatta days, and the club's best thanks aro due to them for the manner in which they carried it out. Tho club's best thanks are also duo to Messrs Ross and Moller for subscriptions and prizes, and to Mr Moller for his excellent handicapping throughout the season s lacing, some of the .races being decided by seconds. The members are also indebted to Messrs J. M'Pherson and J. F. Klackio (timekeepers) and E. Mullingcr (starter) for tho way they carried out their duties; also to the Union Steam Ship Company for tlio use of its launch at the opening and regatta days, this helping in no small degree to make the functions so successful.
