(Received Sept. 11, at 9.40 p.m.) A man named Lorie, who was released on bail in connection with a charge of attempting to shoot his wife near Coonamble as well as on a charge of cattlestealing, shot at'a man named Harris, of whom he was jealous, seriously wounding him. Lorie then went to the Quillbone Station and shot dead the owner; . Patrick Veeeh, whose cattle Lorie was accused of stealing. Lorie is still at large.
