Labour Congress unanimously condemned the employment of Chinese labour in the Transvaal. The conference recommended free meals and free medical examination for all school children, and urged an eight hours day and a pension out of Imperial taxation of 53 weekly to everybody over 60 years of age. Tho congress meets at Liverpool next year.
