MELBOURNE, June 10, (Received June 10, at 10.17 a.m.) Tho recommendation by the Attorneygeneral fixing the travelling allowances of the High Court judges has been adopted by the Cabinet, CONFERENCE ON RADIOLOGY. The Belgian Government has invited the Commonwealth to be represented at the first International Conference on Radiology, to be held at Liege in September. The Government replied that it was unable to be represented, but referred the matter to the universities of the Royal societies. PNEUMONIA PLAGUE. BRISBANE, June 10. (Received June 10, at 10.17 a,in.) A hospital nurse at Maryborough has been attacked by pneumonia plague. A DESTRUCTIVE FIRE. The timber yards of Hancock and Gore, Limited, at .South Brisbane, have been destroyed by fire. The damage is" estimated at £8000. One hundred hands have been thrown out of employment. "
