CHRISTIAN BROTHERS' DEFENCE CADETS Tlio Christian Brothers' Defenco Cadets nm-tered on Thursday evening at then hall in ilalliaj street for inspection by Colonel Robin. Hefferoan It was announced that waistbelts would be shortly purchased by the company, and an entcitainment would be held to elear tho co=f, of uniforms and other equipment, OTAKO DISTRICT NON-COMMIS-SIONED OFFICERS' CLUB. Tho Otago Distiict Non-commissioned OAicer-.' Club hold its -..snai weekly meeting list evening, when Battalion Sergeant-major Benfell gato an interesting and instructive Incline, the subject'being "Protection of Troops on the Jlaicb,' Sergeant-major Smith being in the chair.
