A rescue column, by means of a forced march occupying 48 hours, exlricated the remainder. May 19. (Reoeived May 19, at 10.48 p.m.) " General Trotha bus issued a proclamation offering a reward for the recovery of Hendrick Witbooi, dead or alive, £230; for Sheppert, the false prophet, £150; and for Chief Frederick £100.
