A SENSATIONAL SUICIDE.

A sensational affair is reported as having occurred at Royard's boarding-liouso last night, when one Albert Bennett, formerly connected' with Tub Stock Department lit Perth,' and lately ; employed with a survey party in this colony, who had been drinking heavily, pointed a revolver at' several bystanders. Fortunately, tho weapon missed fire. Then, in tho presence of a number of the. boarders, tlio man.turned tlio wcapoii liljon himself and shot himself through the heart. ■WELLINGTON, February 14; , Benhett. who shot himself at Taihape, was formerly in business at Wellington as a member of the firm of Bennett and Maginnit.v, wine arid spirit merchants.
