VANCOUVER SERVICE. The Navua will leave Auckland on the 22nd at a.m., connecting with the Vancouver steamer at Fiji, Correspondence (specially addiOaStd) will clo£c at this office on the 20th at G. 30 a.m. Due in London 29th March. The Papauui will leave Wellington, ior London, via Monte Video arid Teoeriffe, on the lGth at 9 a.m. Correspondence (specially addressed) will close at this office ok the 15th at 6.30 a.m. Due in London 9tli April. The following places receive newspapers prepaid at, Id, irrespective of weight: Gambia, Gibraltar, Newfoundland, Orange River Colony, Southern Nigeria, Hongkong, British Honduras, and Leeward Islands. Prom Ist January pictorial post-cards will be passed, received from or addressed to Australian States with the communication written on the left-hand half of the address side and divided on the face by a vertical line from the address itself. The public are reminded that letter postage for the United State* of America is 2Jd per half-ounce; newspapes Id for the first 4oz, and Jd for each additional 2oz or fraciion thereof. PARCELS AND PACKETS. The largo posting box at the Chief Post Office is for packets only. Parcels to be sent by, the parcel post system must be handed over' the counter; otherwise they are Used 6d. J.
