SENDING INACCURATE REPORTS. LONDON, January 11.

The Daily Telegraph says that General Stoessel is sharply criticised in .St. Petersburg for sending home inaccurate reports, and for not mentioning General Smirnoff, to whom Port Arthur owes its strength and the soldiers their enthusiasm.

The Timcs's Tokio correspondent says that tlie press, while applauding the bravery of Stoessel's defence, are unanimous in condemning his misoldierlikc taking of the oath and reluming homo without his armv.
