A Blenheim telegram states that the highest marks recorded so far in New Zealand in the musical examinations being conducted at various ccntres by Mr Graham Moore, representative of the Associated Board, have been obtained by Miss Violet M'lntosli, of Blenheim, who was a candidate in the singing division. She is credited with 140 out of a possible 150. This is believed to lie the highest number of marks ever gained in the colony. Mr and Mrs Raeside, Rev. H. W. and Mrs Johnston, Mr and Mrs Fraser and child, Mrs and Miss Tansley, and Mr C. E. Gray arrived at the Coffee Palace yesterday
