HARRIERS, i The St. Andrew Harriers held their weekly run oil Wednesday, starting from tlio residence of Mr E, I'. Clarke, Momiiigton. Although thero was only a. moderate attendance oi members the run was quite the most enjoyable of tlio season. The hares—Williams and Thomson—laid an excellent trail over about 11 miles of country leading around Mornin'gton, through Buniside, and making a wide detour over the hills, and thence homo 'via. tho Industrial •School. After the members had got rid of tho mud and grime they were entertained at tea. by Mrs Clarke, and aftei partaking of tho good cheer provided adjourhment was made in favour of music, which was indulged in for about an hour, several members' contributing items. Before leaving cheers were given for the hostess. Next Wednesday the championship, of three miles, will be run at Forbury, in conjunction with which a sealed .handicap is to be considered.

The New Zealand Boxing • Association has chosen T. Hurcomb to compete in the lightweight event at the Australasian championship meeting an Christchurch this month. Neither Taylor nor Griffon will compete. The former is in ill-health.
