Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.
LONDON, September 12. (Received Sep. 12, at 9.49 p.m.) While Canon Duckworth was conducting communion in Westminster Abbey after the morning service yesterday a startling outrage was committed, apparently by a fanatic intent on avenging the death of John Kensit, the well-known antiRitualist. Two large crackers were placed on tho ledge of the Duke of Newcastle's monument. These exploded, the ftisilade creating a semi-panic.
