MISSION SERVICE AT ST. PAUL'S CATHEDRAL.

The preacher read from St.' Mark's (lospcl, chap, ii 35-41, ami dwelt upon the miracle as showing the perfect manhood and deity of the Lord, and assured his'hearers that, though the wind howled- around, anil I lie waves broke upon the ship of the ehureh, they could not prevail against it. He concluded n stirring niid earnest address by urging upon those proRent to have faith in the forgiveness of sins and the sacraments of the church, which were the most astounding miracles of our day.
