VICTORIAN STATE ELECTIONS
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, June 1. (Received June 2, at 1.4 a.m.) Mr Bent, the Premier, was elected by a large majority over Mr Marshall Lyle (Labour) for Brighton. The Labour candidates wcro successful for Albert Park (G. A. Elmslie), Carlton (P. H. Bromley), ami North Melbourne (G-. M. Prendergast). The news is meagre. Not a. great deal of interest was taken in the election.
