FATAL ENCOUNTER WITH THE ■POLICE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, April 25. (Received ipril 25, at 11.15 p.m.) A telegram from Nogyvared, Hungary, states that the Socialists obstructed an Independence party meeting, and using revolvers killed tho commander of the' gendarmerie sent to quell tlio disturbance. The gendarmes thereupon volleyed, killing 23 and wounding '10.
