GYMNASTICS.
At the annual meeting of the Anderson's Bay Gymnastic Club, held in the Sunday School llall, the balancc sheet and annual report were read and adepted. The following oDicc-hjarers were eleotcd:--Presideut, itr J. C. X'onsouby (re-elected); vice-presidents— Messrs J, Withers, A. M. Byrne, A. Lee Smith, S. S. Myers, AY. Emery, A! li. Johnstone, J. AVhite, 'I'. \Yilson, nnd Ituthcrford; secretary, Mr Clcorge E. AVhite (rc-eiectfd); captain, Mr J. Meek; deputy-captain, Mr George E. White; Committee—Messrs G. Byrno, D. Jicid, and C. 21'Aduoi. /'liie club start Hie seasoil with ii credit b;i.a:il'e of I"'. It was decided to obtain a new nnutress, and also try to obtain an iustructor for one night- a week. Looking out the annual report, the main things of interest are that the members did good work during tlio season, but were much hampered on account of small membership. 'Ine new members got oil especially well. Tile club did lint atlilir.te with the Clymiiastic Association. owing to want of enough members. Tile club arc indebted to the school committee for placing their hall and gymnasium at. their couvenieuce gratis. It was decided lo open the season on Saturday. April 'J.
