Messrs J. C. Thomson, W. Scott, J. ITaeu Gregor, and J. M. E. Gnrrow loft by the nortV cxpreas for Wellington yesterday morning ta givo evidence before the Labour Bills Corn* mittee of the House of Representatives oa behalf of the Otago Employers' Association. Owing to some misapprehension the secretary of the Wellington Vigilance Committee informed Mr Arnold, M.H.R., that the Vigilance Committee tfould give evidence on behalf of the Otago Association, and therefore the b» sociation was not communicated with direct bj the Labour Bills Committee. Mr Keith Ramsay intended to have accompanied the delegates to ellington, but was detained by business at the last moment. , A Chriotchurcli wire states that Dr H. M. Wilson has been appointed assistant medical officer at the Wellington Hospital.
