It embraces all political parties, and is supported by tho Earl of Durham, Mr Ritchie. Hon. Arthur Elliott, M.P., Sir W. V. Harconrt, Earl Spencer, Sir Edward Grey, and several trade unioii leaders. October 20. (Received Oct. 20, at 11.3 p.m.) Tho Earl of Beaucliamp, speaking nt King's Hearth, contended that the result of the Government inquiry was a magnificent demonstration of the value of Frcetrade. Tue meeting, however, was hostile, and repeatedly cheered Mr Chamberlain.
