(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 9.' An elderly man, Georgo Lett, was sentenced to four months for breaking confinement at Waipdra, where lie was employed tree-planting, serving a term of five years. He pleaded that the work was too laborious, and tho food insufficient, and ho hoped, by attempting to escape, to be sent back to Auckland Gaol, whom ho preferred to be. At the Supremo Court to-day a dooree nisi was granted in tho ease of Wells v. Wells and Ogben, a husband's. petition. Costs were given against the corespondont, the husband to have tho custody o£ the children. i
